Komatsu Manufacturing – New Fabrication Building
Completed May 2021

RMC was awarded the Mechanical, Plumbing and Process Piping scope of work for Komatu’s new fabrication facility in Longview TX. RMC partnered with East Texas Refrigeration who completed the HVAC equipment and Sheetmetal work. RMC installed well over 20,000 feet of piping for this project.

Trane – Building 9 Collapse
Completed February 2021

When the roof collapsed on Trane’s 120,000 sf Assembly Building during East Texas Snowmageddon 2021, RMC personnel were there that day in the snow to start the recovery effort. RMC Mechanical and Electrical worked with Sherrill Construction and Smith Fab for the new few months in order to recovery the irreplaceable manufacturing equipment in the building. In addition to this recovery effort, RMC played an essential role in building (2) new “temporary” assembly lines to assist in Trane’s Manufacturing recovery plan.

Trane – Building 10 Expansion
Completed April 2019

RMC worked with Sherrill Construction (Tyler) and Thompson Architectural Group (Tyler) in the design build of a 25,000sf expansion to Trane’s sheet metal production area.  After the design phase, RMC was the successful bidder for the entire MEP package on this project.  We installed all the plumbing, HVAC, process piping and electrical for this new building.   After the building was complete, RMC worked for Trane directly to install all the piping and electrical utilities to their new process equipment in this expansion.

REG- New Boston Biodiesel Plant – 2019 Shutdown
Completed February 2019

RMC successfully completed another outage project for this customer on a tight schedule.  RMC worked under the Management of The Baker Group (Iowa) to complete process upgrades to this facility which included vessels, tanks, carbon steel piping and stainless steel piping. 

Cooper Tire – 500T Process Chiller
Completed December 2018

RMC worked with Trane Commercial Systems (Little Rock, AR) to install all the piping for a new 500T water cooled chiller to support the process cooling system at Cooper Tire in Texarkana, AR.

A&A Coatings – Compressed Air System
Completed August 2018

RMC installed a new compressor, dryer, filters, storage tank and over 1000’ of distribution piping for A&A Coatings new facility in Hughes Springs, TX.

Kluber Lubricants –Tank Farm Piping
Completed July 2018

RMC installed all the process piping to accommodate the new storage tanks when this facility expanded its tank farm storage capacity.

REG – New Boston Biodiesel Plant -2017 Shutdown
Completed February 2017

This project was one of the most challenging projects RMC has taken on in recent years. We completed over 15 individual piping projects (mostly carbon steel and stainless steel piping) at this plant during a 6 week outage. Planning and pre-fab work began 2 months before the actual shutdown. RMC logged more than 13,000 man-hours in just over 3 months, with the 6 week shutdown being worked on a 7-12 / 24 hour a day schedule.

Kluber Lubricants – Bulk Unloading Project
Completed August 2016

RMC installed over 2000 feet of carbon steel weld pipe to support a new unloading station for the oil products that Kluber uses to make their specialty lubricants.

REG-New Boston Biodiesel Plant-Boiler Install
Completed October 2013

Robertson Mechanical completed the mechanical and electrical installation of a 750hp boiler for an operational biodiesel plant.

Trane - Gas/Sound Lab
Completed March 2009

Robertson Mechanical worked closely with local Architects, Engineers and the customer on this design – build project for a new state of the art research and testing facility. Our scope of work included:

Ingersoll Rand-Compressor Installation
Completed January 2009

Robertson Mechanical worked closely with Ingersoll Rand on this project which consisted of completely replacing the 100# compressed air system for the Trane plant in Tyler, TX. Ingersoll Rand supplied all the engineering and equipment for the project, while we worked closely with IR on the equipment/piping layout and the sequencing of the project to best meet the customer’s ongoing manufacturing needs. Our scope of work for this project included:

TXU Martin Creek-Miscellaneous Outage Projects
Completed May 2007

RMC provided TXU manpower and supervision to complete a group of process piping projects during a scheduled unit outage at the Martin Creek Facility.
